Ahhh….This evening my little family and I walked down the pier in Ballina. The afternoon sun cast gold on the rocks and the sea side vegetation, giving everything a deep, rich hue. The choppy sea was dark, as was the sky, and the wind blew a gale. Mullet were being pulled in by the ger-dozen, and seaspray glided around in circles. It felt amazing as the sea breeze carried away all my exam fuzziness – all thoughts of classical conditioning and Rescorla Wagner models were gushed out towards the horizon, and I felt cleansed.
